Monash Wushu Club - Beginners

Beginners Course 2012

Venue: Bld 60, Engineering Exam Hall 2

Dates: Begins Monday, 27th February 2012. First six weeks of Semester 1 only.

Time: Monday, 7:30pm - 8:30pm

Cost: FREE for all beginner members

Every year we get a huge influx of beginners with little to no experience in martial arts.
The beginners course is a 6-week program starting in the 1st week of semester 1.

It is designed to teach beginners all the basic techniques necessary to bring them up to speed in the main classes.
This includes:

basic punch, palm, hook techniques
basic kicking techniques
stance work & drills
compulsory 5-stance routine

This is only a supplementary class and everyone is encouraged to attend the main classes as well as the beginners course.

Anyone trying out wushu for the first time can have their first few lessons FREE so they have an idea of what wushu feels like.
