Stances

Bow Stance

  • Legs shoulder width apart
  • Front foot pointing forwards
  • Front leg bent with thigh is parallel to ground and knee directly over toes
  • Back foot at approximately 45°
  • Back leg straight
  • Back vertical

Nail Stance

  • Standing leg bearing at least 70% weight and slightly bent
  • Other leg more bent with toe pointing downwards into ground (touching ground)
  • Back fist by side
  • Front palm next to back shoulder
