Stances
Bow Stance- Legs shoulder width apart
- Front foot pointing forwards
- Front leg bent with thigh is parallel to ground and knee directly over toes
- Back foot at approximately 45°
- Back leg straight
- Back vertical


Nail Stance- Standing leg bearing at least 70% weight and slightly bent
- Other leg more bent with toe pointing downwards into ground (touching ground)
- Back fist by side
- Front palm next to back shoulder
